After living for 80 years in which Hospital visits were to console other people, I was surprised to find myself in the emergency ward facing exploratory surgery to see how badly the arteries near my heart were blocked. As I came round after 11 hours anaesthia, I was shocked to find that I had undergone a triple bypass and insertion of a new valve. While anaethetized I had a small stroke which made it very difficult to build this site. I’m happy to say that I am slowly recovering and hope that you will be a little tolerant.
Whew!

This website explores what had brought me to this and the changes I have made and am considering.
